July Friendly Crochet Challenge

These monthly challenges are quickly becoming my favorite! It is the absolute best to see your creations. I have been toying with the idea for a while and have some pretty exciting plans coming up, but this month I decided to reintroduce a classic… The Friendly Unicorn!

This pattern is probably my most popular pattern, although it can be hard to determine that for sure. But I do know that I love seeing the colorful, magical versions of this sweet little unicorn on the internet!

The challenge is very simple- make your own unicorn, take a picture, and share it with the hashtag #thefriendlyredfox and tag me! You can share on instagram or in the Friendly Crochet Club (and the friendly crochet club is a great place to post progress pictures and ask any questions you might have! It is an AWESOME community!)

This month I will choose FOUR winners and each will receive one of these magical scissors! Due to shipping concerns, contest winners must reside in the continental US. I wish I could send them to everyone, everywhere!

If you can’t wait you can find the scissors here (I make a small commission if you purchase from this link!)

This pattern will always be free on the blog, but if you want a printable, PDF copy the Friendly Unicorn pattern is on sale this month only with the code MAGICALJULY! You can find it on Etsy or Ravelry. Don’t forget, the sale ends at the end of this month!

It was so fun to see all the versions of Otto the Otter! Rachel Hubbard and Cindy of @nuthollow on Instagram were the winners this time. Don’t you just love these versions??
