This video tutorial is to show how I keep the shape of my big footed snuggler legs without stuffing. This method not only keeps the shape, but it won’t move, allowing the rest of the snuggler to be un-stuffed.

How to Stuff the Feet without Stuffing

Chain 8. Slip stitch to the first chain, so you have a loop. Chain 8 more and slip stitch to the first chain again. Now you should have two loops. Continue this until you have the size you need to fill the space of the foot. Slip stitch towards the center as best as you can. I usually do about 10 loops, but I make two separate ones because it is easier to get them all in that way. Stuff the foot with them, and using one of the loose ends, go through the loops and out through the foot a few times, just to make sure you have them contained. Tie it off.

  2. What a good idea! Would you use this method in other parts too? Is it just guesswork as to how many chains and loops are required? Thank you for all your patterns and tips.

    1. You could use these in lots of other places! It would be a little bit of trial and error to see what would fit the space you are trying to fill. I’ve used them here in the feet, as bunny tails and as little buns for dolls.
