Yarn Under and Over Crochet for Doll Patterns

When I crochet anything that is skin-colored (body/head/arms), I use the under/over single crochet. This helps keep the stitches extra tight. This is optional, of course. But I much prefer how it looks. If you don’t like the under/over, you could also size down half a size hook.

This method is only for my Plush Yarn Dolls, worsted weight patterns work up differently.
