The Friendly Sophie Crochet Doll

The Friendly Sophie is now a FREE PATTERN!
I love this crochet doll pattern! She is so sweet and sophisticated. With those long legs and arms, she works up fairly quickly but is still a great size for a doll! Both of the dolls here have such personality. In the pattern I include all the tips and tricks to get the look you want, whether it be embroidered eyes, or safety eyes and eyelashes, shirt or dress, boots or pants. Either way, this crochet doll pattern is so fun!

This is a good advanced beginner pattern. I include A LOT of tips and tricks for those new to amigurumi and can be helpful for those who already love it! I include many photos for each step of the process. Written using U.S Crochet terms.

The Friendly Sophie Doll is about 15 inches tall and 3 inches wide (not including the arms and hair.) For Sophie, I recommend using size 4 worsted weight yarn in whatever color you prefer.

Your purchase comes with a copy of my Best Tips and Tricks for Amigurumi, the pattern complete with pictures for each step, a tutorial for three ways to attach doll hair, the boots, and the ruffled dress or shirt.

The pattern is a PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. This program is free to download. Feel free to contact me if you need any help!
